• Foil: Pull foil drum-tight with even perforations; start with two 26 mm cubes and add a third after 5–7 min if you want more density.
• HMD: Fully light your coals; set them edge-to-edge and manage vents as needed. If heat spikes, lift the lid for 10–15 sec.
• Purge: Use a slow, full purge to reset heat without shocking the mix.
