Why This Heat Controller

Fit & Compatibility
Works with any bowl when paired with foil. The CenteRings adapt it to phunnel, Turkish, and traditional bowls alike. Especially effective with the Oblako Phunnel S for flavour-forward sessions.
How to Use It
- Pack your bowl and cover tightly with heavy-duty aluminium foil.
- Poke small, evenly spaced holes across the foil surface.
- Choose the CenteRing that matches your bowl’s outer rim and place it on the foil.
- Set the Provost 3 tray inside the ring, then add 3-4 fully lit natural coconut coals.
- Close or partially open the lid to dial in your preferred heat level.
- Adjust the lid throughout your session as coals diminish.
Care & Maintenance
- Let the unit cool completely before cleaning.
- Soak in warm water to loosen ash and residue, then scrub gently with a soft brush.
- Rinse and dry thoroughly before storage.

Do I still need foil with the Provost 3?
Yes. The Provost is designed to sit on top of foil - it regulates and stabilises the heat your coals deliver through the foil. It is not a foil replacement like a drop-on HMD.
Will it fit my bowl?
With two CenteRing sizes included, the Provost 3 fits the vast majority of bowls from compact phunnels (~71 mm rim) to wide traditional bowls (~89 mm rim).
