Fit and Compatibility

The included traditional KM clay bowl works with standard aluminium foil or foil-and-screen setups. For heat-managed sessions, a compatible phunnel bowl and HMD (sold separately) give you precise temperature control. Works best with 26 mm coconut charcoal cubes.

How to Use the Ice Chamber

• Add ice cubes or crushed ice into the ice chamber section of the stem before assembling.
• Smoke passes through the ice on its way to the base, cooling it for a smoother draw.
• Refill ice as needed during longer sessions — melt water drains into the base naturally.

Care and Maintenance

• Rinse the aluminium stem with warm water after every session — a thin stem brush clears residue from the interior.
• Wash the glass base with warm water and a splash of lemon juice or bicarb soda to prevent flavour ghosting.
• Dry the stem thoroughly before storage — the finish may develop a gentle natural character over time, which is normal for handmade Egyptian hookahs.
• Check grommets periodically and replace if they lose their seal.
• Handle the hand-painted glass base with care during cleaning and assembly.
