Fit & compatibility

How to dial it in

• Pack: fluff-pack the Egyptian bowl; stretch heavy-duty foil tight; 20–25 small holes, biased to the outer ring.
• Coals: begin with 2 cubes; add a 3rd after 5–7 minutes if the pull feels light. Rotate every 6–8 minutes.
• Ice bucket: fill halfway with ice (no salt) plus a splash of water to seat the cubes; empty and dry after each session.
• Purge: a slow, full purge clears heat spikes; between pulls, a half purge keeps the draw buttery.

Care & upkeep

Quick fixes

• Harsh taste → ease heat, lift a coal for 10–15 sec, or shift coals to the edge.
• Thin clouds → ensure coals are fully lit; add the 3rd cube after 5–7 min; check seals and grommets.
• Wobble → seat the base protector and centre the stem; the heavier build should settle firmly once aligned.
