Fit & compatibility
- Base seal: KM large base grommet (included).
- Bowl seal: standard KM head grommet (included).
- Heat: foil + heat screen/Provost works best; most solid-rim HMDs don’t seat on a 5-hole Egyptian bowl. Pair with the AOT Provost II.
How to dial it in
- Water level: 10–15 mm above the down-stem bell.
- Ice: add crushed ice to the upper chiller after assembly; top up when meltwater forms.
- Packing: level pack for blonde leaf; semi-dense for darker leaf.
- Heat: start with 3 × 26 mm coconut cubes on foil + screen; rotate every 8–10 minutes. Stock up on 26 mm coconut charcoal.

Care & upkeep
- Rinse stem, base and ice chamber after each use; dry fully.
- Use soft brushes only; avoid abrasive pads on the gold finish.
- Disassemble the ice-cap weekly to clear condensation residue.
