Fit and Compatibility

The Kore Dào Short fits most standard shisha pipes thanks to its integrated silicone grommet. It’s fully compatible with every Kaloud Lotus heat management device: the Lotus I+3, the Lotus I+, the Lotus II, and the Lotus III. It also works with most third-party HMDs.

How to Use It

• Pack ~15g of shisha evenly to just below the rim, level with the top of the centre spire.
• Avoid overpacking — the Short’s compact chamber means even a small overpack restricts airflow noticeably.
• Place your Kaloud Lotus or preferred HMD directly on top of the bowl.
• Add 2–3 natural coconut charcoal cubes (25 mm recommended) inside the HMD.
• Allow 3–5 minutes for the bowl to reach temperature before your first draw.
• The black clay holds heat steadily, so you can make fewer adjustments than with the Qì red clay variant.

Care and Maintenance

• Allow the bowl to cool completely before handling or cleaning.
• Rinse with water only — never use soap, detergents, or abrasive materials.
• Use a soft brush to gently remove any residue if needed.
• Air dry the bowl fully before storing or reusing.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

What’s the difference between the Short and Tall Kore Dào?

Both use identical black clay and share the same ~91 mm top diameter. The Short has a shallower chamber (~15g capacity) for focused 45–60 minute sessions with more concentrated flavour. The Tall is deeper and available in 15g and 30g capacities for longer sessions.

Do I need a separate grommet for this bowl?

No. The Kore Dào Short has an integrated silicone grommet built into the housing. It fits most standard shisha pipe stems without any adapter.
