• Water level: start ~10–15 mm above the diffuser/ports. Add or reduce until draw feels smooth and purge is effortless.
• Seal check: fit the grommet snugly, insert stem with a gentle twist, and test by blocking the hose tip and pulling—no bubbles should appear.
• Purge behaviour: if purge feels tight, lower water a touch; if draw feels thin, raise it slightly.
