• Rotate coals every 6–8 minutes; crack the lid briefly if heat creeps.

Care & upkeep

• Let the bowl cool naturally before rinsing—avoid thermal shock.
• Rinse with warm water only; skip detergents and metal brushes.
• Air-dry fully; tap ash on a soft mat to protect the foot and rim.

Quick fixes

• Harsh edge → lift the lid 10–15 sec or space coals to the rim.
• Thin clouds → ensure coals are fully lit; add the third cube once flavour stabilises.
