The valve and the hose adapter can be easily disassembled from the stem due to the magnets which are connected together.
The hose adapter and the valve are connected to the shaft with magnets, that helps to disassemble them easily (for example, to rinse it), each threaded hookah’s connection is well lubricated, which means that your Mattpear would not creak while unscrewing the stem or any other elements.
In addition, the down stem has an adjustable diffuser that allows you to enjoy a quiet hookah session as well as a classic one with large bubbles when you remove it.
